Many departments, patients moving between them
He was discharged, and his follow-up fell between two departments.
Felesh in a hospital: a follow-up has one owner and a date
This is how the discharge runs now. Three places, no owner.
And every morning: which follow-ups have no owner?
This is how we set up a hospital.
Five pieces, in this order.
- 1 Days 1–2 · Treatment files
Treatment files, with departments as teams.
Patients get a treatment file, with stages from Treatment to Resolved. You choose Treatment files and confirm the board. Cardiology, Orthopaedics and Outpatients are teams that route work.
- 2 Day 3 · The file
One file for the patient, wherever they are.
The summary, the history and each move in one place. Felesh writes what it moved; you see who opened the file.
- 3 Day 4 · The hand-off
A hand-off has an owner and a reason.
In the panel you change the owner from Cardiology to Outpatients. The assignment history keeps the change, and you add the reason as a note on the file.
- 4 Day 5 · The follow-up
A follow-up is a task with a date.
“Call Mr Reed” is a task about the patient, on Sarah’s day. A person calls. You can build one more routine, once: a file in Follow-up for 3 days with no activity sends Sarah an in-app notice.
- 5 Days 6–7 · Each morning
Each morning, one picture.
You set it up once. Files in follow-up, files with no owner, files resolved, and a written line on where follow-ups stand.

Can it run on our own servers?
Running on your own servers is part of the Enterprise plan. Talk to us about it.
Does the assistant answer patients?
Only from what you have taught it, such as visiting hours or where a clinic is. When your documents say nothing, it hands the chat to a person with the reason. Felesh does not message patients by itself.
