A handful of accountants, dozens of clients, the same deadlines every quarter
The client sent the documents in March. We found them in May.
Felesh for an accounting firm: client documents and deadlines in one place
This is how the quarter runs now. Documents in three places.
And every quarter: who is still missing something?
This is how we set up an accounting firm.
Five pieces, in this order.
- 1 Day 1 · Start
We open a place for client documents.
You say “client documents and deadlines”. A Documents area is turned on, with a board for you to name the lanes, such as Waiting, Received and Filed.
- 2 Days 2–3 · Clients
One file per client and quarter.
Import your client list and check every row before it is saved. Each client’s quarter is a record with a summary and a history.
- 3 Day 4 · Documents
Attach what the client sent.
Someone on your team attaches the file to the record, from a file, a photo or a link, and moves the record to Received. The move keeps a reason. Whatever has not arrived stays in Waiting.
- 4 Day 5 · Deadlines
A deadline is a task with a date.
You say “VAT return, 25 October”. Felesh drafts the task for a colleague and nothing is added until you say yes. You add it each quarter.
- 5 Days 6–7 · Chase
A chase is drafted for your yes.
You say who still owes documents. Felesh drafts a task, with the reason, such as “still in Waiting”. You write to the client yourself. On Friday, set up the weekly routine.
What to bring
- Your client list, as CSV or XLSX.
- The documents you already hold for this quarter.

Does it chase clients?
No. It drafts a chase task with the reason, and waits for your yes. You write to the client.
Do quarterly deadlines come back by themselves?
No. You add the deadline each quarter. A monthly reminder you build once can prompt you.
How long does setup take?
7 days, one short step a day. Importing the client list takes longest, and you do it once.
