It notices what's going quiet.
Anyone with no activity for days is flagged on their card, with the days counted.
Flagged where you already look.
A card tells you it went quiet.
A card with no activity for days says so on the card itself, with a mark along its edge. You see it where you already work.
You say how long is too long.
Each stage has its own number of days. Leave it empty and that stage never warns.
The lane counts them.
On boards other than sales and support pipelines, a lane's header counts the cards with no activity for more than a week, so you see the size of it before you open anything.
Or have a routine act on it.
Build a routine that starts when a record has had no activity for 14 days, then choose what it does next.
From a number of days to a flagged card.
Five steps, in this order.
- 1 Set
Pick the days.
On a stage, say how many days a record can sit untouched before it is flagged.
- 2 Card
The card shows it.
Once a record has sat that long, its card says how many days it has had no activity.
- 3 Lane
The lane counts.
On boards other than sales and support pipelines, the lane header shows how many of its cards have had no activity for a week.
- 4 Filter
Show only what needs you.
Switch on Needs attention to show only the cards that are quiet, overdue or have no owner.
- 5 Routine
Or act on it.
Add a routine that starts when a record has had no activity for 14 days. New routines start paused until you turn them on.
Where this does the most.
Noah asked about a bulk order and then went silent. His card has had no activity for nine days. It says so, so you write to him before the order goes elsewhere.
9 days with no activitySee the playbook →Maple Studio has had your proposal for two weeks. The card shows 14 days with no activity. A routine can add a follow-up task for you the moment it crosses that line.
14 days with no activitySee the playbook →Ryan Adams at Aster Co. has not replied since you answered his ticket. Tickets get a short idle limit of their own. His card shows the quiet days so it is not left open by accident.

And what happens instead.
- It does notIt does not watch people.InsteadIt reads the activity on a record. A card goes quiet when nothing has been added to it.
- It does notIt does not warn on every stage.InsteadOnly stages with a number of days set will flag. Leave it empty and that stage stays silent.
- It does notIt does not send an alert on its own.InsteadThe flag shows on the board. To be told, build a routine, publish it and turn it on.
- It does notIt does not reorder your board by idle days.InsteadCards stay where they are. The Needs attention filter shows quiet, overdue and unowned ones together.
What counts as activity?
Anything added to the record, such as a stage move or a note. When nothing has been added for longer than the stage allows, the card says so.
Can each stage have its own number of days?
Yes. Set it on the stage. An empty number means that stage never flags.
Will it message me when something goes quiet?
Not by itself. The card shows it on the board. If you want an action, build a routine that starts at, for example, 14 days with no activity. It starts paused, and publishing and turning it on each wait for your yes.
Does it work for people as well as deals?
It works on the records you move across a board, such as a request, a ticket or a case. It does not put a day counter on a list of people.
Is the longest-quiet card always first?
No. Cards keep their place. Use the Needs attention filter to show only what is quiet, overdue or has no owner.
Hand it the work. Keep the decisions.
